Expedited Ground & Air

Flat World provides premium expedited shipping services, including ground and air freight forwarding services. We also offer dedicated door-to-door premium freight services to and from any location in the U.S. Our technology, network strength, and world class customer service provided through our easy to use web-based quoting, booking, and satellite tracking platform provides real-time visibility into your supply-chain.

The equipment choices available include: cargo vans, straight trucks, flat-bed, step-deck, temperature-controlled and validated transport options, arms, ammunition, and explosives (AA&E), and hazardous material shipping vehicles (HAZMAT). Much of the equipment available is equipped with Qualcomm OmniVision satellite tracking, so we are able to electronically dispatch the "right" truck in less than 90 minutes.

Return Goods Management

Our Return Goods Management services include complete coordination of return goods to a central distribution facility or secondary market. We basically take care of your returns, in the same way a good payroll service would take care of your payroll; from beginning to end.

How do we receive the information about your returns?

• Your customers or you calling Flat World directly.
• Your customers calling a toll free number that we answer with your name.
• You or your customers faxing us.
• You or your customers e-mailing us.

Contacting your customer and assigning RA numbers

Once the information about the return is received, our people can assign a return authorization number (with your numbering conventions) and then immediately contacting the pickup location and confirm the return is ready for pickup. As you are aware, this sometimes takes multiple calls before the freight is ready to pickup.

If your customer decides not to return the item

If for any reason your customer decides freight cannot be picked up, you are notified.

E-mailing or Faxing the BOL to your customer and timely pickups

We then schedule the pickup and create a customer-specific Bill of Lading (BOL). The BOL is then e-mailed or faxed to your customer at the pickup location. Same Day pickups are possible with Next Day pickups standard.

Returning the freight to your location

The freight is then returned to your return centers, our warehouse facility or a location of your choosing.

Reporting the information back to you

• We provide monthly reports showing what products eachÊclient returned.
• We can include reasons for returns.
• Custom Reports allow for; product count, customer name, pickup location, and various other data.
